Hi my name is Clifford and I’ve been an American IT Consultant for the past quarter of a century. On October 24, 2010 I received my first Master’s degree from Keller Graduate School of Management in Network and Communications Management, with a concentration in IT Security. This degree has been conferred with distinction.  On December 23, 2012 I received my second Master’s degree in Business Administration. I have achieved numerous business and technical industry certifications and have been named to the Dean’s list 5 times within a 9 trimester period.

About a year and a half ago I lost my job, and to our surprise we later discovered – American jobs have and are still being outsourced to H-1B immigrant workers. It’s been during America’s tough and turbulent economic times while struggling in this Nation, I’ve been enrolled in college courses coupled with rigorous studies in technical certification programs.

While we Americans have been diligently and fiendishly working towards higher education to keep pace with our Country’s Technology market, we have been deceived by our own political leaders that have been in collusion with rich billionaires, millionaires and CEO’s alike. It’s been behind our backs – our opportunities have been traded as a field of grazing cattle. Case in point there is the Disney workers stories who were replaced with H-1B workers who had to train their replacements as a condition of their severance pay, not to mention the Southern California Edison (SCE) worker’s “furious” because they were forced to train their immigrant replacements, moreover the SCE employees cited their replacements did not have the required experience.

The H-1B program is cited as a non-immigrant visa in the United States under the Immigration and Nationality Act, section 101(a)(15)(H). It allows U.S. employers to temporarily employ foreign workers in specialty occupations.The regulations define a “specialty occupation” as requiring theoretical and practical application of a body of highly specialized knowledge in a field of human endeavor.

As we were enrolled in courses to keep pace with our Technology market, it’s been behind our (the American People’s backs) our jobs have been outsourced and traded at an alarming rate.

I was told “Tell your story,” but I really didn’t want to. Exposing the shame and embarrassment of what’s happened to me – surely I didn’t want anyone to know. To be viewed as a failure after 25 years of arduous effort coupled with $200,000+ of student loan debt; adding to that –  I’ve not been able to secure full-time employment stability in this Nation. All the while this Country’s jobs have been given to those in another nation who now report a surge in new millionaires.

I was appalled to learn this and wondered – is this the reason for many years I’ve been lead on so many “wild employment goose chases,” when applying for work – to discover American companies are not hiring us, over immigrant workers. For years I’ve been told by corporate America “You do not have the skills we are looking for,” which is in contrast to the many jobs my resume and skill-set were a perfect match for.

Our goal is to raise awareness as to the negative implications occurring due to H-1B visa, offshoring and outsourcing programs – of the American Citizen’s job, which has lead to a great economic decline here is the U.S.

I’m writing this blog to help eradicate the American worker’s decimation as well as expose those who are responsible for their heinous acts. My heart goes out for my many fellow Americans whose careers have been cannibalize as mine has.  Our concern is for the futures of America’s Science Technology Engineer Mathematics (STEM) workers.
